6. Ocean Avenue.
Ocean Avenue has inspired no small number of songs, including, of course, Yellowcard’s infamous teen ballad, and with good reason. This beautiful stretch of road boasts some truly sublime ocean views. The westernmost road in Santa Monica, Ocean Avenue begins at the residential Adelaide Drive on the north end of Santa Monica, winds through the heart of Santa Monica, and ends at Pico Boulevard. It runs parallel to the gorgeous Palisades Park, whose bluffs overlook the Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Monica State Beach.
