Tobey Maguire the high-stakes poker-playing actor (“Spiderman”) and budding film and television producer (“Rock of Ages,” “The Spoils of Babylon”) and his jewelry designer wife, showbiz scion Jennifer Meyer Maguire, purchased the double-gated property in late January 2014, for $8.45 million from Emmy-winning chat show host Ricki Lake, who herself acquired it in 2002 for $5.6 million from sitcom queen Courtney Cox.
