  • He was nicknamed “The Real Deal” for his undisputed world championship in both cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.
  • Holyfield retained heavyweight crown three times which he won from former champions George Foreman & Larry Holmes
  • Holyfield became first heavyweight boxer since Muhammad Ali to win the world title three times, beating Mike Tyson twice, second time in a rematch in which Tyson was disqualified for biting off a part of Holyfields ear
