Ice Cube was born O’Shea Jackson, but got his stage name by trying to be cool and pick up his older brother’s girlfriends. His brother told him that he “wasn’t no ice cube,” but it seems he proved otherwise. With a net worth of about $140 million and annual earnings of $30 million, he can buy all the ice cubes he wants. Contributing to his worth is the fact that Ice Cube is one busy guy. He is an actor, songwriter, rapper and a record producer. Ice Cube began his career with the rap group C.I.A and then founded N.W.A. In 1989, he released his first solo album AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted. His first role was in Boyz ‘N the Hood in 1991, which was nominated for two Oscars and he wrote and starred in the film Friday and that lead to two sequels. He owns Cube Vision, a film and television production company he founded with Matt Alvarez. While he lives in LA, Ice Cube is more of a car guy owning at least six cars, including 2 Bentley’s, one for him and one for his wife, a Porsche, Corvette Stingray and a Rolls-Royce Ghost (starting price – $295,850.)
