Rumor has it that Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts and husband Danny Moder recently purchased a dumpy ranch-style residence in the Point Dume area of Malibu. The cost for the possible property investment or additional residence for staff or family was $3.895 million!
Due to the lack of curb appeal and residence not being in good condition, the 1,620-square-feet house with three bedrooms and one bathroom will most likely be remodeled and/or upgraded. Because of the drab appeal, there is very little detail on the property. But what we do know the interior has open living room and kitchen which opens to a tree-shaded brick patio. There’s a detached two car garage and an unkept downward sloped backyard. The only bonus that we can tell is that it has it’s own access to the private beaches.
In the private and secluded Point Dume area, other entertainment industry big names include Matthew McConaughey, Chris Martin, Barbra Streisand and Owen Wilson.
