Pop star sensation Justin Bieber was set on buying himself a much deserved home for his 18th birthday. And since settling into the Calabasas mansion that he chose he seems to be enjoying life on his own just fine. Unlike some celebrities who retreat into quiet relaxation when they’re off duty, the now 19 year-old Justin is known to host a party for his closest friends and he has the perfect sweeping residence to do so.
Surprisingly the home might not have been his first choice, as he was originally interested in purchasing a modern spot that Ashton Kutcher was renting, but Ashton swooped it up before Justin could. His second choice is pretty fantastic anyway, we’re sure he doesn’t mind too much. The singer reportedly dropped $6.5 million on his Calabasas home, which was close to pocket change for the child star turned mogul who ranked number two on the Forbes Highest paid Celebrities Under 30 list in 2011.
The seven bedroom and 9,400 square foot home is of Spanish style, which is quite popular for the area. The master suite has a fireplace, a sitting room, and his and her bathroom spaces. Out by the pool you will find an inviting outdoor dining area equipped with a chandelier to better enjoy those warm Los Angeles nights.
The living room and much of the house have floor to ceiling windows for the best possible views, and some other mature amenities like a wine cellar, wet bar, and a library. The indoor dining room has glass doors that swing open to give an unobstructed and potentially romantic view of the sunset.
There is a guest house on the property in case he prefers to give or take some privacy from any friends who stay over, and two three car garages for plenty of parking space.
The house has a gym for keeping fit while off the road, as well as a massage room so Justin can work out the kinks in the privacy of his own space. Naturally there is a movie theater ready to go inside the home for undisturbed date nights.
With dedicated fans around every corner that sort of privacy for a young hot star is absolutely priceless. In fact it is reported that all guests in the Calabasas home are required to sign a confidentiality agreement on any and everything that might occur on location…and a breach in contract could cost you a cool $5 million. But don’t try showing up uninvited, the house rests within a gated community and security is high.
Justin’s real estate dreams don’t seem to be completely satisfied however, as he reportedly just purchased a $2 million mansion in Columbia, in the Caribbean coastal city of Cartagena. Like his main pad, this home also has a movie theater and a pool for ultimate entertainment.
While the star certainly seems to enjoy treating himself in the home department, he has been generously treating his family as well. In October of this year Justin reportedly sprung for a 5-bedroom house in Ontario Canada for his dad and his dad’s other two children, which clocked in at $850,000.
