The owner, actress and entertainer Mitzi Gaynor, purchased this Spanish-revival style home in Beverly Hills, Calif., with her husband, talent agent Jack Bean, in 1960, according to public records. Ms. Gaynor said they purchased the home for $65,000. The home was built in 1929, and the couple were only the second owners to live in it.
Mitzi Gaynor house balcony off the master suite overlooks the swimming pool and yard of nearly a third of an acre. Including the maid’s room there are five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 4,167 square feet of living space.
Since the death of his husband Jack Bean in 2006, the “South Pacific” star says the house is too big for her. “There are so many blessed memories here, but there comes a time when you have to move on,” she just listed this house for $5.495 Million.
