Adam Sandler is an accidental star of sorts. He was pushed into the path of fame by his brother who insisted that he take part in a stand-up comedy night in his hometown of Manchester, New Hampshire. One of his earliest roles was in The Cosby Show, playing Theo Huxtable’s friend Smitty. From there, Adam Sandler would get discovered and land a spot on the legendary Saturday Night Live cast. Since then, Adam Sandler has starred and produced a number of films including Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer and Big Daddy. Adam Sandler has also delved into dramatic roles in Spanglish and his Golden Globe nominated role in Punch-Drunk Love. Adam Sandler has won several People’s Choice Awards and has earned an estimated net worth of $300 million. He has donated some of his earnings to the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester, New Hampshire. Adam Sandler, with his wife and two daughters, lives in a $42.5 million Bel Air mansion formerly owned by Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
