Ellen DeGeneres and her actress wife Portia De Rossi live in this nearly $40 million celebrity compound in Beverly Hills.
The lesbian couple recently scooped up the newly built mansion for a mere $29 million then went on to purchase the adjacent house for $8.5 million a month later. In addition to their around-the-clock staff of armed security guards, the talk show host and her lover have gated the street below for additional privacy. The two were married at their Beverly Hills home on August 16, 2008.
The larger house has 4 bedrooms and 7 baths in about 6,000 square feet while the smaller home which would most likely serve as a guest house has 5 bedrooms and 4 baths in about 4,600 square feet.
