Dr. Dre's Los Angeles Mansion
View Dr Dre's AddressHeadphones aren’t the only thing bringing fortune into the life of Dr. Dre. As of late July 2014, the notorious music producer closed on a deal to purchase Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen’s custom built mega-mansion, a multi-million dollar estate he purchased for a cool $40 million.
The Brentwood, California home is 14,000 square-feet and was originally listed at $50 million. Dr. Dre acquired the property with some of the $3 billion obtained from the deal he closed with Apple, in the sale of Beats Electronics earlier this year.
The custom-built Brentwood Mansion was a vision depicted by Tom & Gisele while they were developing the dream family home from the ground up. During the construction in 2008, the NFL quarterback referred to it as a place that their family could enjoy spending quality time together. This home would be a sanctuary for their family and a place they would love to call home.
Reports state that the couple invested $20 million in the development of the mansion which comes with six bedrooms, a library, chef’s kitchen, pool, koi-filled moat and a contemporary style, fully equipped gym that offers state of the art equipment. Gisele is equally sentimental about planting roots for their family and attributes the building of the mansion to wanting to start a place from the ground up, where their family could grow and bond.
Following the purchase of Tom & Gisele’s home, the heavyweight music producer and business mogul, Dre listed his former Hollywood Hills home for $35 million.
