A native of Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger started out as a bodybuilder winning a slew of championships including Mr. Olympia. His first acting roles in America were in early 1970s parodies of Hercules, where he was credited as “Arnold Strong.” Arnold Schwarzenegger’s breakthrough role was in Stay Hungry. He would go on to win a Golden Globe for his acting debut and star as Conan in Conan the Barbarian. He became a millionaire at twenty-two-years-old and since then, “The Arnold” has expanded his net worth to $300 million. In the 1990s, Arnold Schwarzenegger earned $20-$25 million per film. His most famous roles have been in The Terminator franchise and Robocop. In 2003, Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected governor of California and served two terms. Through his governance, he initiated the California Hydrogen Highway Network to help reduce air pollution and founded the Schwarzenegger Institute for State and Global Policy and the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy. Arnold Schwarzenegger lives an extremely luxurious lifestyle complete with expensive cars and a $38 million private jet, which is worth more than his $23 million home in Brentwood, CA.
